Hi Rackspace community.
Hope you can help me with this, I set up the auto-reply as per instructions on a mail account, and set the time appropriately, but when I test whether the auto-reply works from another email account, nothing gets sent back.
What could be causing this?
Hi ange!Just wanted to confirm, did you turn on the auto-reply feature via webmail or OWA? Depending on what type of mailbox you have, you may be able to turn it on via your email client as well so just wanted to ensure you were trying from the web and not an email client like Outlook. If you turned it on via webmail/OWA and it still does not appear to be working after about 5 minutes please try turning it off, waiting at least 5 minutes, and then turn it back on again. I've seen on a few occasions that the auto-reply settings didn't update to the server the first time. Also, when testing just keep in mind that each unique email address that sends to your mailbox will only get the auto-reply once per day while the auto-reply is on and working properly. So if you get an auto-reply message while testing and then send again from that same email addres, even if it is on and working properly you won't get the auto-reply a second time!

I also found the auto-reply feature didn't work properly. Although I tried your idea, turning on after 5 minutes turning off, however, it still doesn't work...
Could you check what happened to my account and give any other advice?

If you are not the admin, please reach out to your admin to see if they can help. HI! I have switched the auto-reply function from my work mail to personal, but I am still sending auto-replies . It's kind of a problem because I don't want a lot of people to know where I work. Hope you fix this as soon as possible.
